About Us
University of Maryland University College (UMUC) was founded in 1947, as an accredited institution that seeks to provide working adults, military personnel, and students worldwide with the opportunity to achieve their educational goals through online instruction, accelerated programs, and classroom-based courses with convenient and flexible schedules.
Academic Life
UMUC features the School of Undergraduate Studies and the Graduate School of Management and Technology. Each school offers its own unique set of degree programs in which potential students can take courses in. The undergraduate school offers degrees in Business and Management, Communication, Arts, and Humanities, Computer Information Systems and Technology, Legal Studies and Criminal Justice, and Psychology, Social Science, and Science. The graduate programs available are Business and Executive, Doctor of Management, Health Care Administration, Information and Technology Systems, Management, Accounting, and Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Teacher Education.
